We are extremely excited to have this coffee in the roastery. It was curated by Samuel Demisse, the renowned coffee taster and Ethiopian-born coffee importer with whom we've partnered since we started roasting in 2009. Samuel has an uncanny ability to procure some of the most incredible coffees we've ever had the pleasure of tasting.
This lot comes from the town of Fisahaganet in Kochere, Ethiopia. While many coffees are hand sorted to remove defects, Samuel has implemented an extremely rigorous triple sorting procedure which removes virtually all defects from the lot. The result is an impeccably clean and sweet coffee.
This is a very complex and multi-layered coffee. Expect a confectionery sweetness, bright, juicy acidity and medium light body.
