We strive to evoke the best out of each coffee we roast by implementing roast-profiling. We design a unique time vs. temperature curve for each coffee depending on its varietal, growing altitude, terrior and desired flavor profile. It's a labor-intense process that involves dozens upon dozens of cuppings (tastings) and evaluations and more than a few over-caffeinated afternoons. It is, however, a labor of love and we wouldn't have it any other way. Roast profiling is the only way we can ensure a consistently excellent product to our customers.
We are also committed to shipping each coffee order on the same day that it is roasted. This ensures that our product reaches the customer at the peak of freshness, ready to be brewed. Orders are shipped in sealed, 1-way valve bags that protect it from heat, cold, sunlight and just about any other force of nature (or force of the USPS) that it will be exposed to. We're seriously committed to only delivering excellent coffee that has not been compromised anywhere along the chain of production.
